Famous literary words or perhaps an observation Willy made when he saw this sign

i_fart1

On my first visit to Denmark, this is the disclosure that greeted me at the airport elevator. I pitied them Danes and their inhuman affliction. Soon I saw the sign everywhere, on the highway, in more elevators. The fart epidemic is so widespread that the government had to enforce

HIGHWAY FART CONTROL!

I am thinking cops with anal breath analysers.  If evidence is blown away in the wind, can the fart control still arrest you?

‘ I Fart’ in Danish means ‘in speed’. Let the farting in speed jokes begin.

P.S: I am still new to this blogging thing and unsure about how to credit the picture source. Here is the link -  http://www.sandgreen.dk/bill/billeder

We still joke about that now and then :)

I will never stop giggling about it like a schoolgirl. Thats because I have an extremely mautred sense of humour.

We STILL make jokes about this! And I threaten Mads I am going to steal one of those “Husk fart control” signs to hang in our bathroom!!

  4. shetalkslikejune says:

Lol Kelli! you might have just given me a home decor idea.

  5. Trine says:

LOL… Those signs will never look the same to me again !

  6. Have you seen bådfart signs yet? That’s the one I want for the bathroom. The first one I saw I thought I’d die laughing. My husband could not quite get the humor of it. I’ve always wanted a nautically themed bathroom anyway, so bådfart (meaning something like “boat launching place” or something) would make perfect sense and be utterly hilarious all at once.

Trine: you probably got immune to it. When you go back home next, maybe you will have a giggle.

Archaegoddes: I have not seen that sign yet!

  8. :D Fun in translation. Good one this.
As for crediting pictures, you could either link the picture, or give the name of the website and link it.

For ‘linking’ in wordpress, when you write your posts, see the hyperlink icon– appears as a small chain — highlight the words/phrases you want to link, then click on the link icon and fill in the website address.

Conversely, you could click on the picture in the edit post mode, click on the link icon and fill in website address.

Also, go to Sitemeter.com or Statcounter.com and get yourself a statistics counter; that way you can track how many and who is visiting your blog.

    Hope that helps!
